Telepathy

I think there's a telepathic connection between me and my Japanese boy-toy. I got a suprising call from him this morning. He says he wants to "hang out" soon. He always catches me when my sex hormones are active at their highest level. Too bad I'm trying to cut down on sex, ey'?

Bankrupt at Tiffany's

The main audience I have in the class I teach are high school kids. At the end of each session, there's time for them to socialize and being as young as I am, I get to have the 411 on all their high school drama. Lately, it's been all about Tiffany's.

Most of the girls in my Tuesday and Thursday class have boyfriends and lately these girls have been showered with jewelry from Tiffany's. Each girl tries to show the other up by conspicuously laying their hand out on the table for everyone to see.

Bling!

That little piece is worth $550 with a 0.04 carat diamond, color grade G. Even with a color grade G, its dumb to purchase a diamond that's under 0.1 carat. It's so tiny that grade difference wouldn't matter at all. Also, these boys are in HIGH SCHOOL!! Where the heck do they get this kind of money? I mean, the girl should be thanking her boyfriend's parents! Personally, I think the kids are too young to buy each other overpriced jewlery. And besides, buying overpriced jewlery from Tiffany's is so unoriginal. I would rather have a very creative and sweet idea or a piece of jewelry they have designed themselves. You can buy those shallow girls love, but you can't buy your love for me.

A man's wealth is only a convenience to me, not a standard.
